|Fornication is a calamity!|
Friday Bible Study. 10/28/16
Subject: Fornication is a calamity!
Scriptures for this study: Matt.5:27-30
A. NIV Bible-->
Mt 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, `Do not commit adultery.'
Mt 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Mt 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
Mt 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. (NIV)
B. KJV Bible-->
Mt 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: (KJV)
Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. (KJV)
Mt 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (KJV)
Mt 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (KJV)
C. Word for word Bible-->
1Co 7:28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. (KJV)
(seeing a woman with a view to desire her already committed adultery with her in the heart of him.)
So if the eye of thee right causes to stumble thee pluck out it and cast from thee. for it is expedient for thee that perish one of the members of thee and not all the body of thee be cast into hell. Matt.5:29
And if the right of thee hand causes to stumble thee, cut out it and cast from thee. for it is expedient for thee that perish one of the members of thee and not all the body of thee into hell. Matt.5:30
